1. Availability: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/m/meanwhile, available for all supported architectures

2. Rationale:

   • Optional build dependency of gaim
   • Allows support for Sametime messaging, popular in corporations. Bug #58129. I have also received email and IRC requests for the same.

   • No CVE entry, unlisted in CVE.

   • Secunia history, unlisted in Secunia.

   • No binaries running as root or suid/sgid.

   • Package works out of the box without configuration.
