Requirements

  1. Availability: http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/r/redboot-imx; available for armel

    • Secunia history: None

    • No binaries running as root or suid/sgid.
    • No daemons.
    • Can use the network to download images over TFTP/HTTP, but does not use it by default, and can only access to local LAN (routing is not supported)

    • No source code review performed.
  4. Quality assurance:

    • No Debian package.
    • Upstream for this package (Freescale Semiconductors) is calm.
    • No upstream bug tracker.

      • - The currently only supported target is the imx51-babbage board; but there may be addition targets added

    • No user-visible UI; there is a command line on the serial console however.
  6. Standards compliance:

  7. Dependencies:

    • tcl-dev, tk-dev, econsconfig
    • All build-deps except ecosconfig are in main. ecosconfig has an outstanding MIR.
  8. Maintenance:

    • This is a low maintenance package; it will only have to be touched if a new upstream release is given by Freescale
    • The Ubuntu Mobile Team is responsible for this package; they are Ubuntu developers.
  9. Background information:

    • None.
  10. Internationalization:

    • No GUI apps.
