Requirements

1. Availability: Is available for all supported archs (i386, powerpc, sparc and amd64)

2. Rationale:

   • In the future a build dependency of gnome-app-install. In my local branch I already implemented an advanced search entry that is based on sexy.IconEntry

   • Libsexy is already in main and used by Rhythmbox

3. Security:

   • Quite low tech

4. Quality assurance:

   • Is maintained by Christian Hammond (ChipX86), a known memember of the GNOME community, who is also the maintainer of libsexy

   • There are no known major bugs: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=libsexy

5. Standards compliance:

   • Seems to follow the Debian Python Policy and FHS

6. Dependencies:

   • All dependencies are already in main (mainly pygtk and libsexy)

7. Background information:

   • None
