I have sent over 150+ Ubuntu 6.06 LTS to [http://www.iiu.edu.my International Islamic University Malaysia] (IIUM) for the Department of Information & Communication Technology to be used in their labs. IIUM's Matriculation Center in PJ have 5 computer labs with 30 computers in each lab. So, each lab will be allocated with 30 CD for the students who want to use Ubuntu.

Introduction

This is the wiki page for the Ubuntu Malaysia Local Community (LoCo) Team. Started in July 2005, the Malaysian Team has already grown to over 100 members and looking forward to moving ahead with getting the team approved as official LoCo Team. We aim to provide free community support to users of any of the Ubuntu flavours as well as advocating the use of Ubuntu to individuals and organisations a like.

The LoCo is meant for anyone residing in Malaysia who uses or is interested in Ubuntu. Everyone is welcome to join and contribute to the group regardless whether you're a Linux newbie or a well-known expert in the field.
