History of me in Ubuntu
I got into Ubuntu through Debian. I had jumped from distro to distro for a while and fell in love with apt, making Debian my distro of choice. When Ubuntu 4.10 came out with the concept of "Debian, but for humans", I knew that was where I wanted to be so I jumped over on day 1.
