Experience, Skills and Activities
Been using Linux since I joined Ubuntu Forums (see above). Reasonably competent in C-based languages such as C, C++, Python, etc. (learnt C++ to a degree, writing a python app as I speak).
Reasonably confident with with the command-line. (that's the most important bit, right?)
I have read both the Debian new maintainers' guide and the Ubuntu packaging guide, and I have packaged (for launchpad, no repos or anything) a few applications, but please don't take me for anything near a packaging whiz. I get stuck with anything interpreted, for a start...
I like testing stuff. Unstable stuff is the best, because it breaks. Preferably in a bad way.
