| == Ubuntu Interests == I have been using Linux in general since 1993, Debian for several years, and Ubuntu since its beginning. I first heard about it, back when its web page was still [http://www.no-name-yet.com], from hanging out in #gnome-debian on irc.gimp.org. That's also where I first interacted with people like jdub and seb128. I have been very active on IRC in #ubuntu, trying to be as helpful as I can. I have also been in involved in the following bugs in one way or another: * 5519, 5566, 5853, 5940, 6804 I tried [http://matplotlib.sourceforge.net/ matplotlib] as a tool in my research, and since it wasn't packaged in ubuntu, I offered it to the community in #ubuntu-love.
