Don't disrespect your users

It is easy to forget that our users might never have filed a bug report before.

Don't disrespect your fellow developers

We will have disagreements amongst ourselves and with our upstream developers.

Don't disrespect your community

Don't disrespect your self

Only do what you truly believe is right. If you feel that proprietary software is not right. Simply work on making the open source parts better. If you feel that proprietary soft has a place in the community. That is fine as well.
