Disrespect our users

It is easy to forget that our users might never have filed a bug report before. Some users will not know the difference between proprietary and open source software. Heaven forbid, some users may not even know the difference between vim and a jvm. We will try to treat each individual with respect.

Disrespect our fellow developers

We will have disagreements amongst ourselves and with our upstream developers.

Only do what you truly believe is right. If you feel that proprietary software is not right. Simply work on making the open source parts better. If you feel that proprietary soft has a place in the community. That is fine as well.
