Becoming a Member

What to do first

There are not many requirements for becoming a member of the Ubuntu-au team. In fact, if you are an Australian user of Ubuntu, we'd love to have you join us. Preferably you will be a member of [https://launchpad.net/ Launchpad] before joining, and will also have signed the Ubuntu [http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct Code of Conduct].

Joining

Becoming a member is easy. All that you have to do is add yourself to the [:AustralianTeam/Members members page]. Your name is, well, your name (obvious). Wikiname is the name that you are signed into the Ubuntu wiki with, your Launchpad account. Your IRC Nickname is the name you use on IRC, irc.freenode.net. Preferably you will have registered this nickname on the irc network. Location is pretty obvious. Please also join our [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-au mailing list].
