Working with LUGs - The Ubuntu-ni LocoTeam is a member of the Nicaraguan Network for Free and Open Source Software ([http://www.redslcan.org.ni/ REDSLCAN]). We participate actively on their mailing lists [add link], and usually share information and work together on national issues and events, such as [http://www.installfest.info/FLISOL2007/Nicaragua FLISOL 2007 in Nicaragua].
Installfests - Ubuntu-ni is the official organization of [http://www.installfest.info/FLISOL2007/Nicaragua FLISOL 2007 in Nicaragua]. FLISOL is a huge Latin American Installfest with more than 100 participating cities in 19 countries.
Conferences - We are currently planning and running a series of Ubuntu related [:NicaraguanTeam/Eventos:conferences and seminars] in several Departments of our country.
Advocacy - Articles in local press.
Documentation - Our team is working hard on compiling [:NicaraguanTeam/Tutoriales:guides, tutorials, HOWTOs, and other Ubuntu related material] -including [:NicaraguanTeam/DIYMarketing:Marketing material]- in Spanish and make them available to the Spanish speaking community members.
Translations - A few members are already engaged in the translation of [:NicaraguanTeam/Tutoriales:Ubuntu related material] into Spanish. Some of our members are also active members of the [https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-es Ubuntu Spanish Translation Team].
Community Support - We provide free community support to our members through the [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-ni mailing list] and [http://lug-ilo.homelinux.org/logs/%23ubuntu-ni/ IRC channel]. Our members also provide support and general information about Ubuntu on several local forums: [http://www.computacion.uni.edu.ni/foros/ Foros Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria], [http://bacanalnica.com/foros/viewforum.php?f=10 BN: Computadoras e Internet], [http://tecnonica.ief.st/ Tecnonica].

Distribution points - The Local Groups (see above) are responsible for the [:NicaraguanTeam/DistribucionCD:local distribution of Ubuntu CDs] in Nicaragua in coordination with the national Ubuntu team contact.
