Welcome to the NorthCarolinaTeam reporting page. Every month this page should be filled with bullet points indicating the summary of some of the work you have been working on. As you work on something, try to summarise it here. A few guidelines for how to write good points here:

  • Keep it simple and short - single sentences are best. Smile :)

  • Try to summarize your work and not be over-detailed - we don't need to know specifics, just a summary of the kind of work involved

The Report

Ubuntu North Carolina Loco Team

  • LoCo Participated in SELF (Southeast Linux Fest)

  • akgraner presented 2 BoF sessions at SELF
    • "Why not You" about individual participation

    • "LoCo Ideas" about group participation

  • akgraner reported that we were able to place CD's in the Linux Section of Borders Bookstore in Cary, NC.
  • akgraner reported that we were able to place CD's in the the Library in Rutherfordton, NC.
  • akgraner reported while having dinner at Hooters (Anderson, SC), gave impromptu talk to customers and staff on Ubuntu and handed out CD's.
