 * Team Reorganization

      - Recruitment ideas, and incentives for more active participation.

 * Team Communication

      - Make sure everyone is signed up to the mailing list

      {*} Proposed ideas

           * Focus on three points:

                - Discussing / brainstorming contents: Use (and facilitate use of) Mailing List, IRC, Forums

                       * If a subteam grows, create subforums for the team's discussions (even if to post discussions that took place on mailing list for any non-team members who might be interested).

                - Creating Content: Use Wiki.

                       * Combining the Wiki pages for the teams, and maybe setting up Ohio LoCo Wiki guidelines for structure of the Wiki so new contributors have something to look to when adding.

                       * The wiki has been cleaned up quite a bit lately, and it looks great! My only suggestion, is with combining the sub-teams, is on the main page to create a small table for the Sub-teams (Header: Sub-Teams), 3 cols 3 rows, one row per team, first column as name (as well as serving link to subwiki for the team), second column short description, third column subteam contact.

                - Displaying Content: Use Website

                       * Many non-technical people are not familiar with Wiki's (especially outside of Wikipedia), and unfortunately the use of a Wiki to present information or content may seem unwelcoming or unprofessional. Just a suggestion for a more aesthetic presentation.

                       * Websites need content for visitors, and I believe that while the visual design of our website is very polished, the content is rather lacking. One major point is that most links on the main page actually direct them to a completely different website or place (Ubuntu Forums, Ubuntu's site, Wiki, Launchpad, etc.) and that is actually the main navigation bar! This creates a very "scattered" feeling and presentation. I believe another approach to consider might be one of two. '''1)''' To create a static front page explaining Ubuntu LoCo, who we are and what we do in a very welcoming and inviting fashion, to further interest in exploring the website. Then use the same visual of the current navbar but use it to direct to sub-sites (or sub-pages) for each of the three teams, with their leaders responsible for an "about", current projects, pictures, member lists (to those who agree), and updates. That way people will have an inlook on the team from an outsiders perspective, without resorting to a Wiki. Of course we can also have an "More Information" tab that has the links and descriptions for the forums, launchpad, IRC, etcetera. Or '''2)''' Create a dynamic frontpage that contains updates from Ubuntu Ohio overall (meetings, polls, votes, etc.) and also the projects, with team leaders having access to post news, and of course keeping the navbar the same as in suggestion one.
