Ubuntu Oregon is a group of volunteers who advocate and promote Ubuntu and Free Open Source Software in Oregon. We attend and plan events statewide and remain committed to educating others about Ubuntu and Free Open Source Software through these events and partnerships within our community.

To get the Ubuntu LoCo Oregon Team approved as a LoCo Team.
Community Based Advocacy
Oregon is community oriented and we aim to work closely with community partners such as FreeGeek and various User Groups to provide our expertise and resources to further Ubuntu and Free Open Source Software in our community.
Community Support
To provide community-driven support to Oregonian's via forum, IRC, mailing lists, meet ups, jams and every other venue available to us.
Ubuntu in Education
To work closely with K-12, University and Community Education centers to advocate that they adopt Ubuntu into their curriculum and to aid them in that endeavour by facilitaing classes, providing mentoring and other resources.
Community Involvement
To influence and encourage Oregonians to be involved in the Ubuntu Project and our Local Community (LoCo).
