If you would like to override the DNS settings provided to you by a DHCP server, open

{{{/etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf}}}

and add the following line:

{{{supersede domain-name-servers <dns_ip_address1>,<dns_ip_address2>;}}}

replacing <dns_ip_address*> items with the proper content.
