About Me

I've been using Linux since 1998, starting with Red Hat. I quickly moved to Debian which I used for a number of years but recently made the move to Ubuntu. I tend to use Linux as a desktop OS and feel Ubuntu fits that role better then Debian. I administer Solaris-based systems for a pay-check running on expensive Sun hardware Smile :)

Some of my past and current projects include being an active member of my local LUG (Townsville Linux Users Group http://tlug.dnho.net), writing for the KDE Documentation project (informally) and helping out various other Linux-related projects. I was (and still am) very impressed with Ubuntu and is for that reason I am currently writing documentation as part of the Ubuntu Docteam.

I am also a maintainer of the Official FAQ Guide that is going to be released with Breezy.
