My first experience with *nix came from using SunOS Solaris UNIX at my university beginning in 2004. I started with linux in 2006 and started using Ubuntu in 2007 after Feisty Fawn was released and there was a stable version of the ntfs-3g driver. I dual boot my laptop with Ubuntu and XP and my desktop with Ubuntu and Vista, but I also host a Counter-Strike 1.6 game server and clan, you can find our website [http://www.freewebs.com/fucla here]. The server runs on a tower with CentOS 5.1 and is hosted out of my apartment. My first experience with *nix came from using SunOS Solaris UNIX at my university beginning in 2004. For the Absolute Beginners Team, I maintain our [https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Beginners wiki area] and plan on contributing to the community wiki, as time permits. Ideally, I would like to recruit other team members to also help with the community wiki.

I also intend on getting more involved with FOSS programming once I am settled down in a few months. At that time, I hope to join some small projects, and maybe start one or two of my own.

I am also trying to spend more time helping with bug reports on Launchpad, and have recently joined the [https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Ubuntu BugSquad] team.

Personal Information and Experience

Originally from northern California, I graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a BS in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I have accepted a position as a software engineer with Lockheed Martin and will be moving to Pennsylvania later this year.

As a side job, I maintain my roommate's film production company's website, [http://www.mirrorimagesltd.com/ Mirror Images LTD].
