Lubuntu 13.10の新機能

• 新バージョンのpcmanfm / libfm (1.1.2) に組み込みの検索ユーティリティを搭載しました。
• アートワークを改良しました。新しい壁紙、コミュニティ壁紙、新しいアイコンなど。
• catfish を削除しました。pcmanfm 自体に検索ユーティリティを搭載したためです。
• gnome-mplayer が一部のCPU (P4) でクラッシュする、古くからあるバグを修正しました。
• イメージビューワ gpicview にあったいくつかのバグを修正しました。
• Firefoxがデフォルトのブラウザーになりました。

• キーボードの言語を切り替えるlxkeymapは、キーボード配列の設定に置き換えられました。

Lubuntuアプリケーション

== System Requirements ==

A Pentium II or Celeron system with 128 MB of RAM is probably a bottom-line configuration that may yield slow yet usable system with a reduced lubuntu desktop.

13.10 32 bit ISO require your CPU to have Physical Address Extensions, or PAE. "PAE is provided by Intel Pentium Pro and above CPUs, including all later Pentium-series processors (except most 400 MHz-bus versions of the Pentium M)." - If you have a NON-PAE CPU you can use 12.04 instead.

For PowerPC, it is known to run on a G4 running at 867MHz with 640MB RAM. 

For Intel based Macs, lubuntu should run on all models.

システム要件

128MBのRAMを搭載したPentium IIまたはCeleronマシンが、標準的なLubuntuデスクトップとして、遅いながらも使い物になる最低限の環境でしょう。

13.10の32ビットISOイメージでは、物理アドレス拡張(PAE)に対応したCPUが必要となります。"PAEはIntel Pentium Pro以降のすべてのPentiumシリーズのCPUに搭載されています (大多数のPemtium Mの400MHzバスシリーズを除く)。" - PAE非対応のCPUの場合は、代わりに 12.04 が使用できます。

PowerPCについては、搭載メモリ640MBのG4（867MHz駆動）で動作することが分かっています。

IntelベースのMacについては、すべてのモデルでLubuntuが動作するはずです。

既知の不具合

インストール

• PPC環境では、いくつかの問題と回避策があります。Wiki のドキュメントを参照してください。

• ガイド付きインストールには、'max' 選択時にバグがあります (1163908)。

• 12.10から13.0へのアップグレード時に警告エラーが発生します (966451)。

• 低速マシンでのアップグレードの問題。 Slow Machines を参照してください。

• 隣り合ったデバイスにインストールする場合、2番目のデバイスだけしか利用できません。

• partitionerで'それ以外'を選択した場合、パーティションの追加と削除はクラッシュの原因となります・ (*** 注意 *** Alternateインストーラーではこのバグは発生しません)。

グラフィックとディスプレイ

アプリケーション

• lxpanelの右端の各アイコンのスペースが異なっています (1056547)

• IBusアイコンをクリックしてデーモンを起動しても、アイコンが表示されません (1041933)
