ディスクイメージの入手

ブータブルイメージ（通常のPCやノート、ネットブック向け）

DVDやUSBメモリにイメージを書き込む手順は、Burning ISO Howtoで確認できます。

単に書き込むだけでなく、イメージファイルのハッシュ値による検証を行うことをお勧めします。プレリリース版ではできるだけ実施することが期待されます。MD5チェックサムの確認のための真正値は、イメージファイルのダウンロード場所で入手できます。

Xubuntu 13.10 ハイライト

新バージョンのソフトウェア

  • 新しいバージョンのxfce4-settingsが追加され、ディスプレイの設定も他の設定項目と同じようなダイアログで行えるようになりました。
  • テーマのカラーを簡単に変更できるツール、gtk-theme-configがデフォルトインストールに含まれるようになりました。

Xubuntu Desktop

  • 新しい壁紙
  • Xubuntu独自のGtkテーマの新リリース（Gtk 3.10サポートを含む）と、新しいLightDM greeter。多くのバグ修正を含みます。

既知の問題点

  • indicator-soundがxfce4-indicator-pluginと併用する形では機能しません (1208204)

  • Gmusicbrowserのalbuminfo-pluginは無効がデフォルトになっています。これは、有効にするとハングアップするためです (1223808)

  • Update Managerのリスタートボタンが機能しません (1232363)

  • ユーザー管理において、新しいユーザーを正しく追加することはできるものの、設定ダイアログを閉じるとクラッシュします (1185396)

  • ロックスクリーンの表示に時間がかかります (1229486)
