Goals

• Become a MOTU and start helping maintain the ruby / rubygems / rails packages
• Work on making customizable / derivative distro Ubuntu LiveCD / Install CDs (Asterisk and Ruby / Rails in particular)

Machines

• Feisty on home desktop and work laptop (WinXP on VMWare for outlook)
• 6.06 server on 5+ machines for my jinzora, PHP and Rails webserver, etc.
• For a few years ran edububtu server with LTSP to speed up Linux on the wife's old PII Tecra 8000 - PXE boot... set it and forget it!

Skills

• Senior Linux Systems Administrator for my day job
• Previous position as a Senior Web Developer using PHP, now I'm all Ruby/RubyOnRails

• Side consulting gigs doing Linux admin / Rails development (http://release3.com)

• Love my Sipura 3000 and TrixBox (too bad it's not based on Ubuntu)
