I tried to connect external TV but was not able to do it. The xorg configurator has greyed out the option to set secondary screen. Also Fn-F4 does not work. But TV is not a standard VGA monitor, so in theory it is possible that it would work with standard monitor. == System Info == {{{ bios-version:1.10.MAX system-manufacturer:MAXDATA system-product-name:ECO4510IW system-version: }}} == Hardware details == ||<-5 tablewidth="75%"> '''Screen & Monitors''' || ||<|2> '''Device''' ||<-2> '''Works?''' ||<|2> '''Bug #''' || || in Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Final || in Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Final || || Screen || Yes || Yes || || || Correct resolution? || No[1] || Yes[2] || || || Correct refresh rate? || Yes || Yes || || || 3D Acceleration || Yes, enabled by default || Yes, enabled by default || || || External monitor works? || Untested || No || 153728 || || External monitor - mirrors || Untested || No || || || External monitor - extend desktop || Untested || No || || ||<-4> '''Power Management''' || || Battery detected? || Yes || Yes || || || Hibernates? || Yes || Yes || || || Suspend || Yes[3] || Yes || || || Dim monitor on battery || No || Yes || || || Blank monitor on inactivity || Yes || Yes || || || Lid Close || Yes || Yes || || || Cpu frequency scaling || Yes || Yes || || ||<-4> '''Sound''' || || Sound works? || Yes || Yes || || || Correct volume? || Yes || Yes || || || Hardware volume switch || Yes || Yes || || || Headphone jack || Untested || Yes || || || Mic jack || Untested || Untested || || ||<-4> '''Networking''' || || Wired NIC || Yes || Yes || || || Wireless NIC || Yes || Yes || || || PCMCIA NIC || Untested || Untested || || || Firewire || Untested || Untested || || || Modem || Untested || Untested || || ||<-4> '''Touchpad & Mice''' || || Touchpad || Yes || Yes || || || Touchpad - Doubletap = double click || Yes || Yes || || || Touchpad - Scroll down side || Yes || Yes || || || External mouse - USB || Untested || Untested || || || External mouse - Serial || Untested || Untested || || ||<-4> '''Docking Station/Port Replicator''' || || AC through replicator || Untested || Untested || || || USB || Untested || Untested || || || Serial || Untested || Untested || || || Parallel || Untested || Untested || || || External Monitor - VGA || Untested || Untested || || || External Monitor - DVI || Untested || Untested || || || Modem || Untested || Untested || || || NIC || Untested || Untested || || || PS/2 || Untested || Untested || || ||<-4> '''Additional Hardware''' || || CD/DVD drive || Yes || Yes || || || PCMCIA cards || Untested || Untested || || || Parallel Ports || Untested || Untested || || || Card reader(s) || Yes (SD card tested) || Yes (SD card tested) || || ## Add or remove keys as needed for your laptop. This may be though quite easily fixed installing and running 915resolution package. [2] The only invalid thing is Font settings (System->Preferneces->Appearance->Fonts) - should be set to "subpixel smoothing" by default; you need to change it manually [3] After suspend, sometimes wireless network does not work, and I'm not able to turn it on without system restart
