  • Critical: Shutdown didn't power off. System say is halted, but do not power off: Bug# 43961, as confirmed by Ahmed Kamal in bug comments;

    • How to fix: Add /sbin/rmmod snd_hda_intel added to the end of /etc/default/halt. Worked in Ubuntu Desktop 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon, running from LiveCD.

  • Moderate: Touchpad's scroll not working "out of the box": Bug# 66417;
