Some information coming soon...promise! I am a 100% Ubuntu user on my laptop (IBM Thinkpad T40) who works as an IT Consultant and Sys Admin in Brisbane, Australia.

Most of my work is focused on linux based solutions using Ubuntu and linux appliances based on Voyage Linux (Debian Stable derivative). I am starting to investigate an Ubuntu derivative for use on single-board computers (SBCs) like the Soekris net4801 or PCEngines WRAP.

I have been using Linux since early 2000 when I started with Red Hat after a SLUG Installfest in Sydney's northern beaches - thanks guys :-).

It wasn't long before I moved to Debian with some further assistance from SLUG users on the mailing list.

After tiring of having to configure EVERYTHING in Debian to make it usable as a desktop machine (USB hotplugging especially) I was overjoyed when Ubuntu appeared on the scene.

As they say, I've never looked back :-)

For those interested, my rather basic business website is http://www.dt.net.au. I'm listed in the Ubuntu Marketplace too.
