Throw A E-mail My Way
I've signed on to The Marketing Team, in hopes of helping out.(?) I've Also [https://launchpad.net/codeofconduct/1.0.1 Signed The Ubuntu Code of Conduct] June 06, which moved me, from 'dude' ~ to ~ "Ubuntero". I don't usually sign papers right off, but, it's all good, so i done did it! Geeez...if there was only a paying job open, for a dude like me!!! Currently, I'm surfin` around ~ trying to get up to speed, on things. There's allot of material to read & look at, & absorb! Then to try to say, I've learnt something, might happen in afew years. I'm trying to get a handle on python, C++, & understand W3C. I've made webpages years ago, and want to 'upgrade' my knowledge to - todays, codes & tools. I haven't done presentations, more often I'm, "1 on 1", with a client. I've found, I'ld like to have a leaflet, or something "written"- to leave "in their hands"...& as a "reminder". If a new user has questions or a problem{as I did}, it would be a help to have one of my fliers handy, with a tele #, or E-mail addy!
The material is out there ~ So, It will mostly be copy & pasted stuff - "already approved & used", cause it's on the wiki or site. Thats all kinda quicker too! ;)BR If I saved & uploaded right, Here's 2 drafts to grab,BR attachment:Brochure BR [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BrochureCopy BrochureCopy page, to pick it apart], attachment:Leaflet BR [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Leaflet,Flyer,Flier,Circular A new wiki page, Leaflet,Flyer,Flier,Circular] I've found all the artwork, here- around the wiki, that I'll think to need for brochure's & fliers~ but thats your choice. I've right-clicked- on most any kewl pic & icon, then adding it to my draft.
