I'm Steve Conklin. I'm a member of the Ubuntu Kernel Team, and work for Canonical onthe Ubuntu Kernel. Currently I am working with the OEM team enabling new hardware for Ubuntu. The OEM team are the people who brought you the commercially available netbooks running Ubuntu, and it's great to be bringing new platforms to Ubuntu.

I've been active in open source development for nine years, and am a contributor to several upstream projects including cwpcm and hamlib.

I keep a blog here which I try to keep current with Ubuntu news.
