Suggestions

IRC Meetings

-- This block is done --

*For a first brainstorming and discussion, I suggest to plan an IRC-meeting.

  • suggestions IRC meeting: Feel free to make date suggestions below

    • Tuesday 15th July 2008 19h30 --moosline

      • as there are no pro and no contra. we have fixed this date. --moosline

  • 'Topic suggestions: feel free to insert them in the list below

-- This block is done --

Lets set up the next IRC Meeting for the RP in the Romandie.

Date

  • 1st November (Germanspeaking Switzerland (Deutschschweiz)) --moosline

  • 8th November (Western-Switzerland (Romandie)) --moosline

1st of November seems too close to the Release, you won't get any CD and if the release has to be postponed you will have a RP before it's actually released. -- StéphaneGraber

The date should be defined after an IRC meeting -- HassanElJacifi

Hassan those Dates shown here are only Suggestions, I agree with you, they should be fixed only after an IRC meeting -- moosline

your right, is the 8th also to soon? or will that be working? so is that better? -- moosline

For Zurich the date is fixed on the 1. Nov. Romandie 8th?

Location

  • Zurich (Deutschschschweiz) --moosline

  • Location for the Romandie that were suggestet: Geneva, Fribourg, Yverdon, Lausanne --moosline

Poll:

Should we organise one or two RPs?

I thinke this here is done, there will be to RP one in Zurich and one in Western Switzerland.

(as we had for Hardy)

  • Yes

  • No

  • Other Idea

    • Bartux: we could organize 2 different RP (in Lausanne and Zurich for exemple) on the same day and share conferences via video conference. This would be really cool but also pretty hard to organize (should be sure that video conf. is working VERY well and really synchronize both events). I also think it would have a good impact to be able to show how Linux can work with video conf.
