Goals
What we are planning on achieving:
- Creating a foundation for extensive use of Ubuntu in the public, private and home sectors
Advocating and promoting the use of Free Software in Tanzania with a special focus on Ubuntu
- Conduct workshops to expose Tanzanians to free software through hands-on sessions
- Coordinate and arrange translation of Ubuntu into Kiswahili
- Act as a point of contact for the Tanzanian Ubuntu users with the rest of the Ubuntu community,
- Provide help and support for Ubuntu users through our howto's ,mailing list and Online Forum
- Help people get Ubuntu on CD/DVD easily by downloading and sharing with them

This group is for people of all technical background from I've-never-heard-of-linux all the way to I'm-an-Ubuntu-proffi.
