Sheesh. The mark of a good writer is "Look, I'm sorry this is 20 pages, I only had a day", not "Look, I'm so happy it's 20 pages". In the case of Tenach, I don't think we can hit that 20 page deadline. Wherever you are in the community, chances are Tenach is willing to get involved. A truly self-motivated and driven individual, and decidedly donkey-like in his unrepentant devotion to a project. I know that Tenach is one of the first people I go to when starting on a new venture, and he is a truly invaluable asset to the Beginners Team. About Tenach

I have been a user of Linux since 2003 when I first installed Red Hat on an old Pentium 233Mhz machine. Mostly using Linux for my server, I moved over to using Ubuntu 7.04 as my main operating system in 2007.

Ubuntu ignited my interest in Free and Open Source Software, as well as a newfound passion for helping others with their technology problems. I can always be found in one of many Ubuntu IRC channels.

I find myself constantly steeping in JavaScript and PHP, with some XHTML and CSS for vibrant colors and flavors. Since picking up Ubuntu I have gained a much larger interest in Python and have started utilizing the power of Lua and bash scripting.

Contributions to the Community

Ubuntu Beginners Team

I continue to contribute what I can within the Ubuntu Forum and IRC channels, as well as in the Beginners Team IRC channels.

In 2009 I was taken on as Padawan by Bodsda.

Forum

I have gained a lot of help from the forums over the past few years and I have been looking for ways to help out more. My aim is to find someone to help and post something of value instead of repeating someone else.

Locally

Ubuntu Advocate the use of Free and Open Source Software where possible, with Ubuntu being my OS of choice.
Ubuntu Help friends and family become acquainted with Ubuntu and encourage their exploration of Open Source software.
Ubuntu Maintain several Ubuntu machines including laptops, desktops and a server.
Ubuntu Local tech support for Open source operating systems.

Zenix

Zenix is a remix of Ubuntu with a Buddhist mind set, conceived by Bodhi Zazen. I have been involved in this project mainly through testing the 64 bit iso, and am currently testing Zenix 10.05. I am also mirroring both the 32 bit and 64 bit iso's on my server. I am converting the Firefox bookmark list into a web page to help unclutter the default Zenix Firefox bookmarks.

Goals

Ubuntu Create Free and Open software that benefits the Linux community
Ubuntu To increase the Linux footprint locally and abroad.
Ubuntu Continue to help and support new users.
