About Tenach

I have been a user of Linux since 2003 when I first installed Red Hat on an old Pentium 233Mhz machine. Mostly using Linux for my server, I moved over to using Ubuntu 7.04 as my main operating system in 2007.

Ubuntu ignited my interest in Free and Open Source Software, as well as a newfound passion for helping others with their technology problems. I can always be found in one of many Ubuntu IRC channels.

I find myself constantly steeping in JavaScript and PHP, with some XHTML and CSS for vibrant colors and flavors. Since picking up Ubuntu I have gained a much larger interest in Python and have started utilizing the power of Lua and bash scripting.

Contributions to the Community

Ubuntu Beginners Team

I have contributed what I can within #ubuntu as well as Beginners Team IRC channels for just over one year.

In 2009 I was taken on as Padawan by Bodsda.

IRC

Since adopting Ubuntu I have religiously lived in various Ubuntu IRC channels. Ubuntu #ubuntu Ubuntu #ubuntu-us-ak Ubuntu #ubuntu-us-wa Ubuntu #ubuntu-beginners Ubuntu #ubuntu-beginners-dev Ubuntu #ubuntu-beginners-team Ubuntu #whube Ubuntu #Zenix

Forum

I have gained a lot of help from the forums and have started to help out wherever possible, generally with Acer laptop issues, though I have been expanding my knowledge. I am always aiming to find someone to help, and try to post something of value instead of repeating someone else.
