This page describes the language pack release schedule for Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat". Language pack updates are placed in the regular update repositories according to a fixed schedule, provided they have been properly tested and signed of on.
Language pack testing and updates for Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat"
The table below describes the schedule for language pack testing and updating. All language pack release dates are an integer number of weeks apart, in order to create a predictable week pattern work flow. If e.g. the newly generated language packs arrive in the testing PPA on Wednesdays, then the other events in the cycle will happen on the following days:
- Proposed language packs are placed in the proposed repository on Thursdays
- The testing deadlines are on Wednesday
- Tested language packs are released on Thursdays
The language pack release schedule is also available as a google calender $LINK and ical-file $LINK.
The schedule below is not the final version. Which particular week day the new language packs arrive in the testing PPA, is not know until release time.
