• This method does not download anything to your pc, of course it also does not save anything and if your browser crashes then no more chat. You can use the webchat by clicking on this link #ubuntu-tt on irc.freenode.net

IRC CLIENT

Personally i would suggest to use an irc client. Ubuntu comes with Empathy but there is also pidgin and xchat
