PragueTips

UDS Intrepid will be in Prague!

Luckily our locals from the Ubuntu CZ team contributed a few tips on the Map

Find out:

  • how to get around,
  • where to go out,
  • what to do,
  • what they like,
  • where to get good food,
  • etc.

Travel

Public transport: You can purchase a 5 day ticket for all kinds of public transport (underground, trolleys, buses). It costs roughly 22 EUR. Alternatively, you can purchase a ticket for the train with a time limit on, 60 minutes (or 90 minutes in the evenings) and this costs 1 EUR. For more information check out this page: http://www.dpp.cz/en/travelling-in-prague/ (you may safely ignore the additional zones).

You can reach the hotel three ways via public transport:

Bus 100 -> Line B Zličín -> Line C Florenc -> Vyšehrad (slow)

Bus 119 -> Line A Dejvická -> Line C Muzeum -> Vyšehrad (medium)

Airport Express -> Line C Nádraží Holešovice -> Vyšehrad (fast)
