  • What: Ubuntu Developer Summit for version 7.10

  • Where: Sevilla, Spain

  • When: Sunday 6th to Friday 11th May 2007

At the beginning of a new development cycle, Ubuntu developers from around the world gather to help shape and scope the next release of Ubuntu. The summit is open to the public, but it is not a conference, exhibition or other audience-oriented event. Rather, it was an opportunity for Ubuntu developers -- who usually collaborate online -- to work together in person on specific tasks.

Small groups of developers will participate in short BOF sessions where a single project is discussed and documented in a written specification. These specifications will be used for planning the new release of Ubuntu, as described in FeatureSpecifications and TimeBasedReleases.

This gathering is open to all, and we hope you'll be able attend.

Further information on location, schedule, registration, etc will be forthcoming on this site soon.

Schedule

The schedule will be added at the beginning of the event.

Attendance

If you would like to attend, add yourself to the [:UDS-Sevilla/Attendees:Attendees] page!

There will be some sponsorships, but these will be nominated internally rather than needing those people to add their name to the application list (as has with previous Developer Summits).
