• Ubuntu apapted for Google internal use (desktop, laptop)
• 96 packages changes from Dapper, 38 packages changed for Hardy
• Based off of LTS releases
• nnscache open source from Google to solve some LDAP porblems
• Plan to participate in hardy-backport project, instead of internal backport
• Google Sysop is very happy on how Hardy turned out
• Plans to participate in next LTS -1 to get reader for next LTS.
• NVidia drivers cause problem for updating.
• Google does internal QA testing for sending out updates.

• deb files was one of the reason of switching from RedHat 9
