This week's Hug Day will focus on Kernel audio bugs!  We're specifically looking at bugs filed against the kernel package, but are assigned to ubuntu-audio.  As the Intrepid Ibex 8.10 Alpha 2 is scheduled to be released today, we'd like to encourage bug reporters to verify if the bug still exists in this upcoming release.  The goal of today's bug day will be to help to reduce the number of audio bugs in Ubuntu by giving the Audio Team a hand triaging bugs.

Here we have a sampling of bugs to work on for Hug Day.  After you have triaged or fixed a bug put your name in the last column and set the row's background to green by adding '''lightgreen''' in the first cell of the column after "background-color:" and before ";".  This will let people know that the bug in that row has been hugged.  

You might find it more convenient to edit the wiki page using {{{editmoin}}} a command line utility for editing moinmoin wiki pages.  It is available as a package in Gutsy and Hardy. The 18 month support period for Edgy Eft 6.10 has reached it's end of life.  As a result, we are closing the linux-source-2.6.17 Edgy Eft kernel task.  However, can you confirm if this issue still exists in the Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS release?  If so, the Intrepid Ibex 8.10 Alpha2 is also scheduled for release today.  It will appear at the following when available: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/intrepid/alpha2 .  It contains the actively developed 2.6.26 Ubuntu kernel.  It would be great if you could test this upcoming release via a LiveCD and verify if the issue still exists.  If so, please include the appropriate debugging information as outlined at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems .  Thanks in advance.
