Ubuntu GNOME

Ubuntu GNOME is an official Ubuntu flavor, built from the Ubuntu repos and coupled tightly with GNOME Desktop.

The latest stable release is 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus).

The first unofficial release, 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), came in October 2012. The first official release was 13.04 (Raring Ringtail).

Ubuntu GNOME is and always will be free. Our efforts are open source and international--we work hard to deliver the most refined and user-friendly Ubuntu experience possible.
