Can I export all my contacts?

You can but it's currently pretty complicated and should only be attempted by very technical individuals. You can get a replicated CouchDB with an exact copy of the information on the server. There is not a tool for converting that database into CSV or vcard format, but we would help anyone interested in creating this tool.
