Shares, sync status and UDF selection

Status: UDF selection work is in 1.5.1-0ubuntu2 (currently need to launch via terminal ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk). Displaying status and notifications work begins January 10 during sprint.

Status: Not starting until end of January 2011.

Syncdaemon improvments

Status: First release of new Tritcask metadata backend for syncdaemon released in ubuntuone-client 1.5.2 which has shown 96x (yes, 96 times) faster performance of scanning local metadata which helps with overall performance of file sync and makes syncdaemon more responsive to applications like the Nautilus plugin, U1 launcher, Ubuntu One Preferences, etc.

Unity integration and visibility

Status: Discussed and developed plan for an Ubuntu One launcher item and notifications with njpatel at January 10-14 rally.
