Calling for Ubuntu Online Summit sessions
Michael Hall explains how anyone can participate in the upcoming Ubuntu Online Summit which takes place from June 10-12th. He says that the schedule has been set, and all that is needed now are sessions, which users and contributors are encouraged to run on virtually any topic related to Ubuntu.

Community Donations Funding Report
Michael Hall writes about the recent publication of a report which highlights money donated to “Community projects”, and which documents what the money was spent on. Michael links to the report which he says is published as part of Ubuntu's commitment to openness and transparency.

Welcome New Members and Developers
Jonathan Riddell writes that following a meeting of the Kubuntu Council, a unanimous vote has agreed to welcome Scarlett Clark into the membership of Kubuntu and the wider Ubuntu family. A growing FOSS community in Mauritius
Nitin Sookun writes about a gathering of technologists put together by the Linux User Group of Mauritius where the topic of the day was bug reporting. Nitin gave the group a tour of bug reporting in Ubuntu and “showed folks our Ubuntu Mauritius LoCo Team page and explained the advantages of having Ubuntu users joining and contributing to the community via this channel.”
