It will ship with Hardware Enablement "HWE" stack, with a provided link on bugs resolved in Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS. Ubuntu 19.04 "Disco Dingo" meanwhile remains under development for expected debut on 18 April. Performance improvements are the result of using async compute to do primitive culling. The patches are directed to GCN 1.1 through Radeon VII cards on professional/workstation graphics. Depending on feedback the code could be enabled for all GPUs and a possible whitelisting for games optimization. These patches provide fixes for the black screen resuming issue on Kaveri APUs through Hawaii dGPUs, the disappearing cursor on Raven Ridge systems, fixes around the multi-plane commit support, and fixes for the new seamless boot functionality. Added in Mesa 19.0-RC4 are graphics driver fixes as well as other random fixes. However, with about a dozen bugs still open it is expected that there will be a RC5 next week. If the blocker bugs get resolved, it is expected to have a Mesa 19.0 release in about two weeks.
