Ubuntu Upstream Relations

These pages will outline work we do in Ubuntu to liase with upstreams such as GNOME, KDE, X.org, and Debian. This is a work in progress and one of my goals for Karmic is to make this section be useful, if you want to help contact me directly. -- jorge 2009-06-22 20:41:28 (I'm going to break this page up into sections.)

Projects

  • "So you want to be in Ubuntu?" - a guide for upstreams on how Ubuntu works and what they need to do to get on the road to collaborate with Ubuntu on their package.

Todo

Pages and resources from around the wiki that we should clean up and perhaps consider putting in this namespace:

  • Upstream Guide - Ubuntu Developer tips for working with upstreams.

    • Debian is a crucial upstream to us
