Usplash currently bows out once gdm flips the vt, for users who are using gdm autologin, it would look sweet if it could wait until gnome-session has got their desktop ready for use.

well, i've been trying to prevent X from grabbing the focus. i conclude: you'll need an X-hacker here. now with X modularized, it might be easier, but its still some work i think. -- superstoned
