Ubuntu activity

  • Tunisian LoCo Team Member and member of Ubuntu Tunisian Team et Ubuntu-Tn Management Committee

  • Coordinator of the Redaction Team (Elected at the 4th meeting): I participate actively in drafting content for the site or other media for tue use of the Team. I also coordinate and mentor the activities of the other members who participates in the activities of the Redaction Team.

  • Web&Tech Team Member : I participate actively in configuring the hosting server of the alpha site of my LoCo Team (The Website Project) . In the future, i'll look after the administration of the final server and the site with the Web&Tech Team.

  • in my work, i am doing consulting task which always leads to the migration of customers to Ubuntu

  • I actively paricipated in the TunisianTeam apparition in the Software Freedom Day 2008. Here is a pic of me in that event and here is another one. I also monitor the install-parties of the day.

  • I participate on Saturday November 15th,at the high Institute of multimedia and computer sciences of Sfax, Tunisia (ISIMS), where I introduced the quality of the famous Ubuntu operating system with a booth and conferences. Here's some pics of the event

  • Preparing an action which will be held in an engineering school (ENIS : National School of enineering of Sfax). The goal of the project is to migrate all the platform of the school to Ubuntu. Here's a draft of the project.

Future involvement

  • I'll propose the creation of a documentation team which will draft help documents.
  • I manage a little start-up which hope to be a Canonical Partner.
  • Insure the development and the administration of ubuntu-tn.org.
  • I'll be a member of the association which will represent the LoCo Team with the Government Institution.

  • Continue my involvement in the LoCo Team and planning to monitor the certification (LPI) of the members of my LoCo Team.

Nizarus : Mawale joined our young Loco Team after the approval in July 2008. He quickly integrate the group an began one of the most active members. In Loco team management committee we elected him as a members because we believe in his contribution to spin up the Loco activity.
