=== About me ===

Hello, I'm Daniel McGuire, aged 17.

I am currently a ICT student at Pontypool college in South Wales where I study various subjects from web design to computer animation. I built my first computer at the age of 17 back in 2011 and I installed Ubuntu Unity 11.10 on it as soon as possible. Ubuntu Unity 11.10 was my first taste of Linux and needless to say; I was hooked from the very start.

My name is '''Daniel McGuire'''. I was born and raised in the South of Wales in the United Kingdom. I currently study ICT at Pontypool college.

[[https://www.facebook.com/pages/WOW-Lubuntu/251544618247684|WOW Lubuntu]] is a new project created by amjjawad (a member of Lubuntu family) to enlighten the whole world with the power of Linux generally and Lubuntu specifically and tell the untold story about a unique system that could breath a new life into an ancient machine instead of breathing the dust somewhere in the dark. I joined amjjawad on the 9th of June as a administrator of the page, we are actively looking to develop and expand our project.

## Projects and Plans Section

= Experience, Skills and Activities =

  1. Good basic understand of HTML and CSS
  2. Very good in Troubleshooting and Support (Installation, Partitioning, Dual-Booting, Multi-Booting, Desktop Environment, Linux Distributions, etc).
  3. Excellent in writing instructional guides or how to's in many areas.
  4. Very eager to learn each and everything about Linux, I believe I have learnt a lot in a sort amount of time and I understand that I have only touched the surface of Linux as a whole.
  5. I actively enjoy doing all the above things and will continue to do so for a very long time.

= Future Hopes =
##What do you want to achieve in the future? Long term and short term goals are perfect :)
  * '''__Short-Term Goals:__'''
  I would love to just start of by learning the ropes, getting to know people and generally trying my hardest to become a decent member of the community

  *'''__Long-Term Goals:__'''
  This one is a bit tricky right now as I have me fingers in too many pies and I don't quite know where I want to go with all this yet, only time will tell.
