Desde el año 2004 promueve y fomenta el uso de tecnologias libres en colombia, actualmente trabaja como administrador de sistemas en una importante empresa del sector metalmecanico, se desempeña como administrador de Ubuntu Colombia, es miembro activo de comunidades que promueven el software libre a nivel nacional como bogota-mesh, hackbo, colibri, casli, debian colombia, drupal colombia, quiron.

Entre sus logros estan ubuntu member, organizacion exitosa de eventos como: Flisol (ibague, bogota, villavicencio), SFD (bogota) UGB, Dia del usuario ubuntu, ubuntu openweek, fiestas de lanzamiento, conferencias en: Universidad nacional, SENA, Universidad libre, CIDCA, Universidad de la sabana, universidad cooperativa, unillanos, cafam, universidad piloto, universidad santotomas, universidad del tolima, Universidad Distrital, Universidad de Cundinamarca, Ministerio de Comunicaciones, Canal Caracol, entre otras.
