Who I am
I'm Ian May and I joined Canonical in April of 2020. I'm a member of the Kernel Stable Team and my main responsibilities are related to the kernel SRU process.
My Ubuntu story
Back in 2006 while at University my parents gave me their old computer. I decided this would be a good opportunity to dive into Linux. From my perspective Ubuntu had the best user base so I grabbed a copy of Dapper Drake and haven't looked back since.
My involvement
I've spent years studying the Linux kernel
