About Me
I am an Ubuntu only user of four years. I have installed Ubuntu on 40+ computers. Recently converted a mac user! My strengths are artwork and design and have contributed wallpapers to the various Ubuntu release competitions. I run several interesting blogs including an Ubuntu blog at iheartubuntu.com. I am a big fan of open source software and privacy issues.
Contributions
- My main contribution would have to be my Ubuntu blog. I cover a wide variety of topics related to Ubuntu including applications and how-tos for installing non repository programs and getting hardware to work properly.
- I enjoy my time in the Ubuntu California IRC room #ubuntu-us-ca and if theres a question I can help answer I will offer my input. Most of the time I am the one with the questions!
- enjoy troubleshooting and fixing bugs. I had spent several hours helping Canonical fix some key bugs before the 10.04 release. My first real taste of bug work.
- Successfully converted a small company to Ubuntu linux.
Future Plans
- Finish my UCP Course and be certified.
- Create a travelling Ubuntu Hour bouncing between a few hillside communities of Southern California such as Pasadena, Monrovia, and possibly Claremont.
