Having recently been through the process of applying for upload rights, I am able to bring a different perspective when considering applications for Ubuntu membership and upload rights. When considering granting upload rights, I believe a person's ability to learn, desire to improve Ubuntu, and understanding of when to ask for help are more important than a detailed understanding of every technical detail.
