I have used linux since may 2006 and ubuntu since September 2007 and i have to say its the best linux distro i have ever used. Not only has linux boosted my computer skills by doing everyday tasks i have learned some basic programming and basic bash scripting plus html. The ubuntu forums is the most friendly place i have ever seen plus you can get a answer to any question in a matter of minutes and the forum is easy to use too! Overall my windows 98 computer crashing back in 2006 has been a great, great thing and i would never go back to windows.
If you are a windows user googleing ubuntu or something linux isn't just a programming computer or something you have to be a rocket scientist (although NASA use linux are there computer for security) to use because ubuntu is easy to use and is newb friendly!!!:)
