Summary

I started in 2006 for the first time with Ubuntu and in 2008 it became my primary operating system. My contributions to ubuntu have a very broad scope, including support, documentation, artwork, submitting/fixing bugs and coding.

Past activities

• Volunteer at several LoCo Release Party's in the Netherlands

  • * Oss (9.04 and 9.10)
  • * Ede (10.04)

• Writer of the articles on the Dutch Wiki about Yubikey and Seahorse

• Writer of manuals about setting up mail, printers, chatting and wireless at the Fontys University

• Created several dutch relaseparty posters (9.10 and 10.04)

Current activities

• Ubuntu-NL Team member

• Leader of the Dutch Artwork Team (launchpad link)

  • * Designing the new forum theme

  • * Working on the new LoCo support map

• LoCo Support on the Supportmap

• Helping on Dutch Forum and IRC

• Writing plugins / Fixing bugs for the Ubuntu-NL website

• Contributing to the new artwork/design submitting website

Future plans

• Getting more involved into the international Ubuntu Community
• Improving and maintaining to the Ubuntu-NL server
